Not everyone's signed up for the phone system, so I don't know about this one. . .

I think he means either password or pinn. So people can choose what to use. If they didn't set up a pin they can use their password.

The problem is in converting your password to a series of digits. Do you really want to enter something like 21222331323394 if your password is abcdefz, or just enter a four-digit pin? Both identify you as the rightful user of the account, one is much easier. This example is used because it treats each letter as a two-digit code.

Makes more sense to keep them separate. Or, what you could do, is you could always change your password to the same as your pin number, in other words you could make it hits, which is 4487, and make that the same for both the site and the phone system. you would just need to learn which letters correspond to which numbers on the phone. Either way it's up to you to come up with a secure password or pin number for the phone so that your account won't be broken into.

Hell, that's something everyone should do.

Actually, if you were referring to using the pin on the site, I don't think that's a good idea either. 4-digit pins are easier to guess than passwords, for one.

n I ment use either the 4 digit pin or the password so that you cood login easier.
